And I have become Pain!

I have become a pain,
Never did I realize I could become one,
The pain of the ethereal heart.

Sunshine that once cracked through our window,
To glimmer on our naked souls.

I learnt to fall in love with the dark,
It’s funny coz’ the nights don’t seem so long,
So long as the days never end!

The dark that only persists in my subconscious,
And the light, the light is screeching bright.

The sunshine that once cracked through our window,
Only makes my soul wail with pain today.

I have become painful and I never realized,
I had it in me to become one.

Can love be dark and not light?
Can the heart be heavy and not floating?
Can a soul be so lost, that loss is the only way?
When I was falling down that spiralling hole of hopelessness last night,
It was dark, dark deep inside,
I looked out for your hand, to search for light…

And I realized, I have become a pain,
And pain,
Pain is what could be my only guiding light!
