To The Calling Within

Christmas 2018!

I’ve often been commented upon and said “You love yourself, don’t you?” Or I’ll hear “That’s a self-obsession” or I’ll even get sometimes “You’re selfish cause you only think about yourself”

And I wonder “Well, don’t you?”

It is as if society is designed to make you feel ashamed for loving yourself, or for exercising the love for self publicly.

It’s as if one always has to have a person on their arm, someone besides them to feel that they are validated with the right to love and be loved.

As if just standing tall alone like this is not exuberating enough love, compassion, faith, and admiration.

I love myself, the self that carries my soul. I am falling deeply in love with my soul and all of the immense beauty it is manifesting through being carried on in this world in this temporary vehicle of a body that it has been put in.

I admire the wonderful thoughts and ideas it manifests.

I admire my souls’ vastness and its ability to accept, its ability to surprise me beyond my understanding.

I admire the strength my soul musters in difficult times of life.

I love that my soul allows me to freely express happiness and sadness, smiles and tears, love and longing alike.

The being that is the manifestation of my soul, the name body face voice, and everything resulting from these tangible physical manifestations of my being is instead in appreciation, admiration, and reverence of my Soul.

The places of my soul where I have been deeply touched are the rare corners of my soul that I am learning to see, to accept, and to love through the journey of life.

I am absolutely, shamelessly, and completely in love with the energy of the universe that reverberates through the instrument of my body, through the heart, and through the soul and it is so satisfying to have found this home in self.

May the guardians of the universe raise this energy to find more purpose to achieve, more hearts to reach, more stories to speak, and more love to share.

If the soul is anything, it is a comfort to the ones seeking, kindness to the unkind, and music to the ears of the one who can hear the song of the soul.

Amen

The only freedom is the freedom to allow yourself to be the best version of self, and hence allow change. Ponder, read, write, explore and grow.
